Your responsibilities will include:

• Assess current overhead and underground distribution and/or transmission systems and make recommendations, design changes as necessary.
• Candidates will be responsible for providing project management support, estimating, design support, coordinating with drafters and client specific needs on Distribution systems for maintenance upgrade and new build projects as well as possibly support electrical load calculations.
• Individual would need to understand load tolerances, calculations and structural capacity, pole/load calculations.
• Supporting and permitting responsibility related to overhead/aerial distribution utility construction.

Qualifications needed:

• 1-3 years of drafting, design, or engineering related experience or utility construction related experience.
• Engineering degree or construction degree preferred but not required
• Experience with AutoCAD and PLS-CADD
• Must have strong computer skills and ability to navigate different computer screens and folders efficiently
• Telecommunication fiber design experience would be beneficial
